The town that was once full of diamonds has now become like this
The history of mankind is very rich. In this history, all cultures have different sides. It is these differences that constitute the rich and colorful picture of mankind. However, no matter in any country, there seems to be the same law. No matter how powerful the regime that rules this country is when it is first established, as time goes by, it will be replaced by another more powerful regime. The reasons are both the continuous weakening of the ruling power and the continuous growth of another ruler. These are the main reasons. It is precisely because of this that people often say that "what flourishes must decline." In other words, no matter what kind of regime it is, even if it reaches its peak, it will inevitably be a scene of decline after its peak. This kind of thing not only happens to the political power of a country, but also occurs in a small town, a town that was once extremely luxurious and full of diamonds. It is understood that the name of this town is Colemanskop. It used to be a very famous town in Namibia. The people in the town lived a very luxurious life. But now when someone enters this town, they can see that this town is like a ghost town, completely covered by the desert, and there is no one living here. The current appearance of this town can be described with the word "desolate", but it is precisely because of this desolation that it attracts many photographers.

This kind of thing not only happens to the political power of a country, but also occurs in a small town, a town that was once extremely luxurious and full of diamonds.
It is understood that this town is called Colemanskop. It used to be a very famous town in Namibia. The people in the town lived a very luxurious life. But now when someone enters this town, they can see that this town is like a ghost town, completely covered by the desert, and there is no one living here. The current appearance of this town can be described as "desolate", but it is precisely because of this desolation that it has attracted many photographers. One man named Romain Veillon took a lot of photos in the small town of Colemanskop. When many people see such photos, they can't believe that this town turned out to be an extremely luxurious town in the past.

A town that used to be full of gold has now become a lifeless town with no one living there, and it has become what people call a "ghost town." This gap is really difficult for people to accept, but the fact is naked in front of people. Speaking of the story of the small town of Colemanskop, it can be considered a very old story. At the beginning of the last century, in 1908, this place was still a German colony. German colonists discovered a large number of diamonds here. It was because of the discovery of these diamonds that a small town was established here. Soon after, it became a very luxurious town. The rich resources made the town prosper quickly. People relied on diamonds to make a fortune and lived a very enjoyable life. At the peak of the town of Colemanskop, the population living here reached 1,200 people. Although it is incomparable with today, there were so many people living in such a desert. It was already a world at that time. This is a very remarkable thing; and in this town, the facilities are also very complete. There are hospitals, schools, power plants, swimming pools and casinos in the town. It can be said that people enjoy their lives to the fullest. However, it is precisely because they live in the desert that the fresh water resources they use are transported from Cape Town, with a distance of 1,000 kilometers. In addition to this, they also import fine champagne from France. With so much expense, people don't need to worry at all. Life in the entire town is luxurious.

After living like this for a period of time, it quickly experienced a process from peak to destruction. Because people do not cherish diamond resources and have been exploiting them vigorously, the diamond resources here have finally become less and less. With the emergence of World War I and World War II, the price of diamonds has fallen again and again. People's lives are no longer luxurious, and the town is gradually declining. In the end, the entire town completely disappeared because people discovered a richer diamond mine in the south. After the discovery of this diamond mine, Colemanskop finally became an abandoned town. From 1908 to 1954, in only 46 years, Colemanskop went from a luxurious town to a town that no one cares about, and now no one will show up here.
When I see Colemanskop now, I see more of the yellow sand sky. The entire town has been almost completely submerged by the desert and has completely turned into a ghost town. It is worthy of the title given to it by people. The people who appear here now are generally explorers or photographers. People imagine the past through the dilapidated houses and desolate scenes. Everything has become a thing of the past. It is impossible to start over.
